ORIGINAL NOT AVAILABLE

Medium: acrylic on illustration board
Inspired: Shanda Comics
Dimensions: 18"x24"

This is fan art based off of a comicbook called "Shanda the Panda." This is in acrylic paint on illustration board measuring 18"x24". I created this for a person who was really into the comicbook series. The series makes plays off of movie covers (some of which have included Pulp Fiction and LOTR). The movie "Kentucky Fried Movie" (made in the late 70's) was a favorite movie of the person so I made this for her. I also enjoy creating pin-up artwork so this was a lot of fun to make. It is rare that I do any cartooning. I do plan on making more anthromorphs but realistic instead of illustration. In my scraps section I have a close-up as well as other close-ups and sketches.

Thanks for looking! :)

Thinking that it was market at first is a wonderful compliment! I am so happy you like how it turned out! :D It was a very time consuming piece. Nice to know the long timeframe paid off! ;) Thank you so much!

I'd also like to see the Kentucky Furred Movie. Sounds fuzzy :D

Nice! I was searching on "Furd" (the name of one of my cats) and never expected to find anything, let alone this good.

You're welcome, and thank you for the :+fav: and the :+devwatch:!

One never knows, do one? I was just playing one of dA's many tag games (in my journal) - this one is a particularly good way to find wonderful things we wouldn't otherwise. Glad it led me to your gallery - wonderful work!
